Cowboys-Eagles’ kickoff moved to 3:15

IRVING, Texas –The Cowboys might be 5-10, but they still have some pull. So does Michael Vick.
The NFL decided to shift the kickoff of the Cowboys’ Jan. 2 season finale at Philadelphia from noon to 3:15 p.m.
The Eagles will have a short week of preparation for the Cowboys with Sunday’s game against Minnesota postponed until Tuesday because of a snowstorm. Maybe the league wanted to give the Eagles three extra hours?
Philadelphia could still be in position to earn a first-round bye with wins in its final two games.
When these teams met on Dec. 12 at Cowboys Stadium NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” matched its highest preliminary rating in the show’s five years. The game drew a 16.5 overnight rating and 25 share to match the Cowboys Stadium regular-season opener between the Cowboys and New York Giants.
