The Dallas Cowboys, by nature, draw a large television audience whenever they play. But this Sunday, there should be a few more viewers tuning into their game against the Indianapolis Colts.
After all, the Cowboys and Colts are the two most popular teams in the NFL, according to a Harris Interactive poll that was released in October.
The Cowboys, of course, had the biggest legion of supporters among the 2,620 adults who were surveyed. But the Colts weren’t far behind. In fact, they were favored more than the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers, two franchises with support bases that extend beyond the cities in which they are based.
Here is Harris’ ranking:
1. Dallas Cowboys
2. Indianapolis Colts
3. Green Bay Packers
4. Pittsburgh Steelers
5. New Orleans Saints
