Jimmy Johnson Approves Jason Garrett, Promotes Safe Driving Through Crown Royal

Former Dallas Cowboys 2-time Super Bowl-winning coach Jimmy Johnson is a smart guy. Not only did he take the Cowboys from the worst team in the NFL in 1989 to back-to-back Super Bowl titles four and five years later, but he’s promoting responsibility while drinking his sponsored whisky, Crown Royal. Johnson said current Dallas head coach Jason Garrett is making great strides by making the Cowboys practice in pads and he also says that all football fans should designate a driver while enjoying Crown Royal Whisky during Super Bowl weekend.
To aid fans in making responsible choices, Crown Royal will provide adults with free and safe rides home in branded SUVs from Dallas-area hot spots. Crown Royal “Safe Rides Home” will take place from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Thursday through Saturday at the 1500 block of Main Street and Friday through Saturday at the 2300 block of Leonard Street. Consumers can sign up for rides throughout the evening with Crown Royal brand ambassadors at both locations. Eligible participants must be 21 and older and live within a 15-mile radius of the signup location. There is a seven-passenger limit per vehicle. Those adult bar patrons who sign up for a safe ride will be asked by Crown Royal to sign a pledge to always drink responsibly and assign a designated driver. Those who sign the pledge will receive a wristband to show their commitment to the cause.
