Cuts as of Friday afternoon:
Player, Savings (Cap hit for 2012)

Leonard Davis: $6 million ($4.166 million)
Roy Williams: $5 million ($8.7 million)
Marion Barber: $4.7 million ($4 million)
Marc Colombo: $2.4 million ($6.1 million)
Kris Brown: $910,000 (No hit)

As of Friday afternoon, the Dallas Cowboys officially cut five veteran players, which gives them $19 million in savings.  That is great, but there is a very steep price for doing this.  The Cowboys will be hit with $23 million in “dead money” toward next years salary cap.
