One Tuesday, the Dallas Cowboys signed Veteran Shayne Graham. The heat is on! Addition of Graham cranks up heat on injured David Buehler. For this low key situation, the Dallas Cowboys have done their best. There is a good old fashion kicking competition, with a little more than 2 weeks until the regular season begins.
Jerry Jones and Jason Garrett have a three-way battle with David Buehler, the incumbent, and Dan Bailey right now. Making the matter a little crazier is the fact that Buehler, who made 24 of 32 field goals last season, is dealing with a hip injury. In his third season with the Cowboys, Buehler spent his rookie year in 2009 handling kickoff duties.
Washington Redskins cut Graham earlier in preseason. He is a proven veteran, who made all 12 of his field goal attempts last season, when he was replacing Stephen Gostkowski for the New England Patriots.
The heat on all three kickers!
