When Miles Austin returned to the Dallas Cowboys lineup, it was probably assumed that Laurent Robinson would be an afterthought in the passing game.
Robinson will likely see his output dip as the season plays out, but it didn’t happen this weekend. Robinson led all receivers in this contest with over 100 yards, most of them from a 70-yard reception in garbage time in the early fourth quarter. Despite the big play that accounted for most of his yardage, Robinson had some other moments that were impressive, including great concentration on a juggling grab in the first half that was nullified when his outside foot just grazed the sideline after the first time he tipped the football. Tony Romo and Robinson clearly have a rapport this season. Great pickup, Jerry Jones and Jason Garrett!
