Yes, Philadelphia destroyed the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night. Even though they lost, the Cowboys claim a player worth mentioning as MVP, linebacker DeMarcus Ware. Ware had a four-sack game in defeat. Cowboys coach Jason Garrett sure noticed.
Garrett stated, “I thought it was an amazing performance, I think he was credited with 11 tackles in the game, five tackles for loss, including four sacks, and it was an outstanding performance. It’s really almost what you come to expect from the guy week-in and week-out”
Sunday night’s four sacks of Michael Vick give Ware a total of 12 for the season, which puts him on pace for a record-breaking 27 this season. (Jared Allen has 12.5 sacks in eight games, which puts him on pace for 25.) Garrett said that if Ware does break Michael Strahan’s NFL record of 22.5 sacks in a season, it won’t be a surprise. It is a shame the Cowboys could not get more effort from the rest of their roster on Sunday.
