ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Dallas Cowboys signed cornerback Brandon Carr to a five-year, $50.1 million contract. For Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys, Carr will play opposite CB Mike Jenkins on the perimeter of the Cowboys’ secondary. Carr will turn 26 in May. He has playmaking ability and is a physical press cornerback. He has safety size at 6-foot, 207 and set a career high with four interceptions last season. The contract is worth $100,000 more than Cortland Finnegan’s reported deal with St. Louis.
