The story of the 55-year-old grandmother, Sharon Simmons, auditioning to become a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader made headlines around the world. The resident from Carrollton did not make it past Day 1 auditions, but that’s not to say her audition wasn’t impressive. Throughout the interviews and day-long dance-off, Simmons’ charisma and confidence were on full display.
